Yajé (Ayahuasca) at the indigenous Cofán – Margrit Jütte
The Entheogen Yajé (ayahuasca) forms the cultural base of many indigenous groups of northwestern Amazon, including the Colombian Cofán. The plant, considered a living creature, is firmly anchored within the mythology, medicine, and cosmovision of this indigenous group.
